Our Story

We created The Parent Strap as a simple solution for parents needing to carry a child, a diaper bag, a balance bike or scooter, and maybe a cup of much-needed coffee. It's strapped to the ride, so you never forget it. It's easy to attach, to relieve a bit of stress. It carries the ride easily, so you can manage all the things.

The Problem.

As a father of two boys, we took a lot of walks. One of the boys would want to go zipping off on the balance bike. Inevitably, we would be far from home and the little legs would get tired. It was always far from home. Now, I'm carefully carrying a child, and awkwardly carrying a balance bike. There had to be a better way.

The Solution.
